A member of the Swiss Bar Association, Me Alexandre Curchod (MLaw, LL.M. College of Europe) specializes in the following areas: employment law, media law and criminal law. He practices in French, German and English.
Alexandre Curchod has obtained in 2011 the title of Swiss Lawyers Federation Expert in Employment Law. He has been a labour judge for fifteen years. He advises employees as well as employers in all issues related to employment relationships and is regularly active in the context of restructurations (collective dissmal, social plan) in multinational companies. He has been teaching employment law in many institutions, namely at the University of applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland.
Me Alexandre Curchod is also specialized in media law. He has also been a lecturer in communication law at the University of Fribourg for more than ten years. He advises and defends public figures as well as journalists in the context of protection of legal personality (defamation, freedom of expression, etc.)
He has also deep experience in criminal law, which he has practiced for several years as a judge.
Me Alexandre Curchod has a personal interest in the arts and in the protection of minorities. In addition to his practice, he is president of the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra (www.ocl.ch).
